Today we have a 2021 Chevrolet Blazer that we're gonna be taking a look at, and I'm gonna show you how to install the Demco Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System. Your supplemental braking system is gonna be one of your five main components in order to flat tow a vehicle. The other main components is gonna be your base plate, your tow bar, your diode wiring, and your safety cables. The Demco Stay-IN-Play DUO is designed to be permanently mounted to your vehicle so that whenever you're wanting to flat tow your vehicle, all you have to do is flip a switch in the footwell of your vehicle, and then hook up to your motorhome and head down the road. more

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer. and today we're taking a look and installing the Demco Air Force One braking system for towed vehicles on a 2020 Chevy Silverado 1500. There's five required components when flat towing any vehicle. And on our Chevy 1500 today, we'll start by taking a look at the base plate. And the base plate is gonna mount to where the factory tow hooks were or structurally to the frame of the vehicle, creating a mounting point for the rest of your components and also your tow bar. Tow bar is your second component and that is connecting point between the base plate and the hitch on the RV. more

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer, and today we're taking a look at the best flat-tow setup for 2024 Chevrolet Equinox. Now there's five main components required for flat-towing your Equinox down the road, and we will start on the vehicle side and that's gonna start with the base plate and that attaches to the frame of the vehicle and gives us the structural mounting point for the rest of our connections. And the connecting point between the base plate and the hitch on the RV is gonna be your tow bar and that's your second component. Again, this is the physical attachment, basically like the coupler of your trailer, this is what is going to pull this down the road. Now, just like a trailer, you also have safety cables, just in case of disconnect. It's gonna attach to the safety chain loops and then also the ones on the hitch of the RV, we have diode wiring, which is gonna transmit the light signals from the RV to the taillights on the towed vehicle, giving you your running lights, your turn signals and brake lights, keeping you safe and legal. more

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at installing the Demco Stay-IN-Play DUO Braking System for towed vehicles on a 2023 Chevy Silverado 1500. There's five main components when flat towing a vehicle that are gonna be required on your Silverado to get it down the road. And the first one is gonna be your base plate that's gonna attach to the frame of the vehicle creating a mounting point not only for some of your other components, but your tow bar. And your tow bar is the connection point between that base plate and the hitch on the RV. Now going along with that, we have our safety chains and these are going to make sure in case of a less than likely but potential of a disconnect, these are gonna keep everything still attached. And you also have a breakaway switch, which is part of your braking system, which is also a component which brings the vehicle to slow and stop when you apply the brakes on the RV and the breakaway switch as if this was to pull, in case of a catastrophic disconnect, it's going to apply the brakes on the vehicle, bringing it to a slow and stop. more

Roadmaster InvisiBrake Braking System Installation - 2022 Chevrolet Spark- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer. And today, we're taking a look at installing the Roadmaster InvisiBrake Supplemental Braking System on a 2022 Chevrolet Spark. Now your braking system is gonna allow the vehicle to slow and stop as the RV goes down the road, but also you're gonna have a breakaway switch here. And that way if the car does become detached from all of your towbar and safety cables, it's gonna pull our cable and that's gonna allow those brakes to apply on the vehicle and then bring it to a stop. Now the InvisiBrake is pretty nice because your box will be mounted inside allowing you to adjust the pressure on the cylinder, and the rest of the cylinder lives up to the name InvisiBrake. So it actually hides kind of in the floorboard and it does make for a little bit trickier of an install, but overall it looks really cleaned once it's installed. more
